Upgrading the visual identity of Sarajevo International Airport

Upgrading the visual identity is one of important steps in development of Sarajevo International Airport that has been continuously been working on improvement of its complete business and level of services for all its users.
Activities aimed at upgrading of a visual identity of Sarajevo Airport to comply the international standards have already been in progress and are going to be intensified in the forthcoming period. The purpose of these activities is to contribute to a level of recognition and efficiency of the company, not only in BiH but all over the world.
„New visual identity is a result of our aspiration to keep up with the times, as well as to meet the needs of users of airport services“, said the director of the company, Armin Kajmaković.
Consequently, the Management of Sarajevo International Airport appointed a special team to work on preparation of a proposal of graphic standards in order to establish uniform rules and examples of visual identity implementation and guidelines to be obeyed in use of primary and secondary graphic, visual and other elements of identity, so to ensure a consistent image in the public of the business of Sarajevo International Airport and its level of recognition in the community.
Furthermore, the Management also defined the announcement policy whose guidelines will prevent any inappropriate advertisement, poster, audio and video material within the complex of Sarajevo International Airport.
In addition to the above mentioned preparatory activities, certain actual steps have already been taken, including a placement of an illuminated sign with a name and logo of Sarajevo International Airport on the main Terminal building, what certainly contributes to its more sophisticated appearance.
After completion of most of the works, in the arrival area in Terminal building was placed a print with a set of photos that represent and promote natural and cultural heritage of our country and its tourist centres. The print includes photos of the Old bridge in Mostar, wide-angle photographs of Sarajevo, Pliva waterfall in Jajce, Rama lake, Una river, etc.
These activities are going to be additionally intensified in the forthcoming period, following the planned development projects whose realization will, to a certain extent, affect the activities on further upgrading of the visual identity of Sarajevo International Airport.
